Princess Marie-Astrid, oldest daughter of Grand Duke Jean, and her husband Archduke Carl-Christian of Austria were among the worshippers at the Peace Mass celebrated at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame in Luxembourg on New Year's Eve. The pontificial mass was dedicated to the memory of Bishop Nicolas Adames who was born on December 29, 1813 in Ulfingen and became the first bishop of Luxembourg on Christmas day in 1870 after the country had been elevated to a diocese in the summer of that year.

Thank you. I did not see the concert this year, nor see it advertised in TV programming. I will look for more on youtube. The palace looks wonderful, what an amazing achievement to restore it.
